CISGNA
About
Central Illinois Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (CISGNA) is a society of nurses and health care providers in Central Illinois engaged in the practice of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. The society promotes and provides education and information to its members; it advocates optimal care for patients with digestive disease and those undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
CISGNA was first formed in 1982 as a response to the recognized need for continuing gastroenterology education and the benefits of networking with those working in the specialty of GI. We are a region of a national society, SGNA, and as such enjoy benefits of membership in both.
